Hey guys, massive apologies for the big delay in updates. At long last we have another video update online! We actually shot this several months back, but all the info is still legit so check it out here if you have a few spare minutes:
It's hard to even know where to begin after such a long break from this blog. The good news is that the lack of updates is not due to laziness or waning interest in the project, it's simply because we've been working our butts off day and night on Play It Safe's post-production!
So many exciting things have happened over the last few months. We held a bunch of test screenings, including one big one at The Backlot Studios, which was a really amazing experience. After working on Play It Safe for so many years it was incredibly rewarding to be able to sit in a real theatre with a real audience and hear them laughing and enjoying it. It doesn't get much better than that!
We also got a bunch of incredibly valuable feedback from these screenings, and the edit is just getting better and better!
Soon enough we will be locking off the edit and moving into the finishing process (including working on the sound design and colour grade). Fingers crossed I will have a little more time up my sleeve once we've finished the editing, so I will try to keep the updates coming a lot more frequently! We also have some great bonus material and interviews that I hope to start releasing in the second half of the year so keep your eyes peeled for that.
